v1.7· Latest

Say thanks your way, and get the answers in your inbox

Write your own thank-you page, redirect people after they submit, get every answer in the new-response email, pick who receives it, and let respondents get a copy.

Write your own thank-you page

Every form now has an Ending section in the builder, right under Introduction. Give the thank-you page its own title and message, in your form's colours and fonts. Links in the message are clickable, so you can point people to what comes next. Leave it blank and you get the same "Thank you!" as before.

Add a button

Want people back on your site, in your calendar, or on a payment page? Add a Button with a label and a link. It shows under the message and opens in a new tab.

Send people somewhere else

Set a Redirect and respondents land on that page the moment their response is saved, with no thank-you screen to click through. A page that embeds your form is told too, so it can redirect itself, while the form inside the frame offers a Continue button. Redirects are free on every plan.

Let people answer again

Collecting several entries from the same person, at an event or a front desk? Turn on Let people submit another response and the thank-you page gets a link that clears the form and starts over from the first page.

Response emails that are worth opening

The "someone submitted your form" email now carries every answer, laid out the way the Responses tab shows them, so you can read a response from your phone without signing in. The button finally opens the right page from any mail app.

Choose who gets them

On the form's Integrations tab, pick which workspace members receive the new-response email. Tick the colleague who handles the inbox, untick yourself, or send it to the whole team. Only members can be chosen, so nobody ends up on a list they did not agree to.

Respondents can get a copy

Turn on Let respondents get a copy of their answers and choose one of your form's Email fields. An Email me a copy of my answers checkbox appears under that field, and whoever ticks it gets a tidy copy of what they submitted, with no links back to Coucou. Handy for registrations, orders and anything people want to keep.

v1.6

Put your form anywhere, and close it on your terms

Embed a form on your own website, cap it at a number of responses you choose, and write the message people see once it closes.

Embed a form on your website

Open Share in the builder and pick the new Embed tab. Copy the snippet, paste it into any page, and the form appears right there, sized to fit its content. When someone submits, your page is told, so you can thank them or send them somewhere else. Embedding is free on every plan. The same code is one click away from the Copy embed code item in each form's menu on the Forms page.

Close a form after a set number of responses

Next to Open at and Close at, the builder's Schedule & limits section now has a Response limit. Set it to the number you want, and the form stops accepting answers once it gets there. Change your mind later and raise it, and the form reopens straight away. Delete a response and the slot frees up. Nothing closes without you deciding it should.

Say goodbye in your own words

Write a Closed message and respondents who arrive after the close date or the response limit see your words instead of ours, in your form's own colours, fonts and logo rather than a generic error page. Links in the message are clickable. A form that has not opened yet now shows its opening date the same way. It all works on the public link and inside an embedded form.

Know when a form is closed

  • In the list. Every form shows whether it is open, opening soon, closing soon, or closed, next to its status.
  • In Responses. When a limit is set, a meter shows how many responses you have of how many you allowed.
  • In your inbox. When a form reaches its limit, we email you once with links to the responses and to the limit, so you are never the last to know.
v1.5

A tidier home for everything

A simpler sidebar, workspace and account settings in one place each, and Responses and Integrations tabs on every form.

A simpler sidebar

The sidebar now has just two places to go: Forms and Settings. Your profile, sign-in and connected apps live in the menu under your name at the bottom. Templates, What’s new, Help and Feedback are in the Help & resources menu right above it. Switching workspaces, seeing all of them, or creating a new one all happen from the workspace menu at the top. Moving around is faster too: pages change without a full reload.

Workspace settings in one place

Open Settings to find General, Members, Billing and the Audit log in a single list on the left. Inviting people, pending invitations and the member list now share one Members page, and new invitations show up the moment you send them. On your phone, settings open as a list. Tap a section to open it, then use the back link to return.

Your account, separately

Things that belong to you rather than a workspace now live under Account: your Profile, Security (password, sign-in methods and active sessions) and Connected apps, where you link or unlink your Google account for Sheets. Old links to these pages still work.

Every form gets its own tabs

Open a form and you’ll see two tabs: Responses, with just your submissions, and Integrations, with email notifications, Google Sheets and webhooks. The form builder links straight to Responses, and each form’s menu on the Forms page has an Integrations shortcut.

Start from a template

The New form page now offers Start from a template next to building from scratch. The form you pick is created in the workspace you started from.

Small improvements

  • Same look everywhere. Pages share one header style and one set of widths, so nothing jumps around as you move between them.
  • Open app. Signed in on a help or What’s new page? Open app takes you straight back to your forms.
  • Safer workspace addresses. A workspace can no longer get an address that clashes with a Coucou page, like /pricing or /help.
v1.4

Build and edit forms with AI

Describe a form in plain words and Coucou drafts it — or open the in-editor chat to add, reword, and restyle as you go.

Say it, and it’s a form

Skip the drag-and-drop for your first draft. Open the New form page, describe what you need in plain words — a contact form, an RSVP, a job application — and Coucou drafts the whole form for you. Review it, tweak it, and create it with one click.

Your in-builder assistant

Every form now has a Coucou chat dock in the corner of the editor. Ask it to add a field, reword a label, change colors, or move things around — the changes are applied to your form as you chat. It understands your current layout, so edits stay grounded in what’s actually on the canvas.

Saved, but yours to keep

Conversations are kept in your chat history so you can pick up where you left off, and every AI use is counted against a simple monthly quota. A free tier is included; heavier use is part of a paid plan.

Coming soon

Question-by-question suggestions while you build, and AI summaries of the answers you collect.

v1.3

Integrations are finally here!

Connect Coucou to Google Sheets and webhooks (Discord, Zapier, or any URL).

Connect Coucou to the tools you already use

Form responses no longer have to live only in Coucou. Send them to a spreadsheet, a Discord channel, Zapier, or any URL you choose — right when someone submits.

Google Sheets

Connect your Google account from Settings → Integrations, then open any form’s Responses page and pick a spreadsheet. New answers append as rows. If you add or rename questions later, column headers stay in step. Already have responses? Use Sync all to catch them up.

Webhooks for Discord, Zapier, and more

On a form’s responses page, paste a webhook URL and Coucou will deliver each submission there. Use Discord for a channel message, Zapier for Catch Hook automations, or any custom endpoint. You can send a test delivery before you turn it on, and optionally add a secret so your side can verify the request came from Coucou.

Coming soon

Slack and Notion are next on the list. Until those land, a webhook is the bridge into almost anything else.

v1.2

Share feedback with the Coucou team

A public board for ideas, bugs, and notes. Vote, comment, and follow along as we work on them.

A public feedback board

You can now tell us what to build next. Open Feedback in the header or footer to browse ideas, bugs, and notes from other people using Coucou.

Post, vote, and talk it through

Sign in to start a post, vote on one you care about, or leave a comment. Replies nest under the original comment so the thread stays readable. Screenshots are welcome when something looks off.

See what we are working on

Posts can move from open to planned, in progress, or done as we pick them up. Closed posts stay visible so you can still read the discussion.

v1.1

Browse templates without signing in

Explore Coucou's template library before creating an account.

Discover Templates as a Guest

Browse the template library freely without signing in. Open Templates, search by keyword, and use filters to find the right form template for your needs.

Sign In When You're Ready

When you find a template you want to use, simply click it. Coucou will prompt you to sign in, then automatically create a form based on your selected template.

Continue Where You Left Off

If you selected a template before signing in, we’ll remember your choice. After you authenticate, Coucou will automatically continue the form creation process so you can pick up right where you left off.

v1.0.1

Post-launch improvements

Download your answers to a spreadsheet, legal pages, and a round of small fixes.

Google Sheets

  • Download your answers. You can now export your form's answers to a spreadsheet file. If a sync ever fails, you'll get a clear message instead of silence.
  • More dependable sync. We made the connection between your form and Google Sheets more reliable and easier to fix when something goes wrong.

Legal pages

Added Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages, and linked them in the footer.

Small improvements

  • Cleaner email addresses. We tidy up email addresses when you sign up, so your account always works.
  • New app icon. Your browser tab now shows the Coucou icon.
  • A fresher look. We refreshed the cards, buttons, and pages across the app.
  • Better form experience. Small fixes to the form builder and to published forms.
  • Dark mode fix. The background in dark mode now looks right.
  • Faster search. Finding your forms is quicker and more reliable.
v1.0

Launch

Coucou is here. Build forms, share a link, and collect answers, all without writing any code.

Build forms easily

Coucou makes it simple to create forms. Pick a question type, drop it onto your form, and it's ready to go. Your work saves automatically while you build.

  • Easy editing. Change your question text, hints, and answer options right where you see them.

  • Preview before you publish. See exactly what your form looks like to visitors.

See your answers

  • Answers saved automatically. Every submission is saved to your form's answer list.
  • Easy to review. Browse, search, and organize your answers in a clean list.
